Bulk email marketing

I have noticed that for the past year I’ve been receiving spam email in my yahoo account where the title is related to my yahoo searches and yahoo messenger chats. For example, if I do a search for renters insurance, sometime during the week–usually one or two days– I get an email with renters insurance on it. Sometimes it is even faster for example, today I was looking for an old friend online and yahood her name. It wasn’t 2 hours when I received an email with her name in the title and some spam message as the subject. Also some names that I’ve only used on yahoo messenger are coming up in spam email titles. I have checked for keyloggers and there are none, in fact i just did a full restore this week so there hasn’t been a chance for a keylogger to be installed. I have antivirus/spyware and firewall installed and this is still happening. Is it possible that yahoo is selling is providing my info to marketers by linking my email to my ip and therefore to my online searches?s

I received an email from (myname)@yahoo.com Although I have my mail set up to show a different “Sender” name, if this were to go to others who know me, they might be inclined to open it thinking it was from me. What’s up with this?

PS I have seen many, many variables of my name for everything under the sun from ****** enlargement (I am a guy) to Viagra. But this one hit the nail on the head.

I want to avoid creating multiple shorter lists.

she sends group emails. everyone else recieves her emails and my email is listed. why am I not recieving them?

I was just curious to find out because a lot of my friends have Yahoo IDs. Whenever I am reading a forwarded message sent to a group of people, those who have Yahoo IDs have the smiley face next to their address, but sometimes one smiley face is brighter than the other. Does that mean that they are logged into their email at that moment?

We are non-profit organization. We would like to create a yahoo group to mail to members some news info and etc. How moderator could import an exisitng email list to yahoo group?

I want all my yahoo stuff to go through Yahoo 360 now instead of just reg yahoo and also my user name is lonelydreamer_kls and my emial address is angelhdms@yahoo.com and I don’t want that too change is that possible I am so new at this so I don’t want to sound dumb but i really don’t know if this is possible… Hope I explained ok i can be im at yahoo instant message beta, the regular one would not install on my pc for some reason… thank you for your help.

Is there any software that notifies you on the taskbar when you get an email in yahoo mail, without showing the im’s you get in your yahoo account?

I once answered a question and i answered it the way i thought was appropriate. It was within the guidelines of yahoo answers community, i showed respect to the asker too.

But then some other yahoo answerer, clicked on my mail icon on yahoo answers profile and then blasted me in the email saying —

“How can you answer that way? How dare you? You are the biggest arrogant meanie i know. citizens like you are useless”

i was like, “what is this guy talking about? what did i do?”

Then i went back to my answers and i answered a question which said,

“Is waterboarding torture?”

i answered yes, because i felt that way. But this other yahoo answerer blasted me in email that how dare i say yes and that i’m with the terrorists and stuff.

I still quite don’t understand why another yahoo answerer will send email to basically attack your character?

An email appeared in my Bulk folder that I intended to designate as Not Spam – but life happened, I got distracted and deleted the email instead of marking it Not Spam. Is Yahoo going to reject that email address from now on? If so, can I go to a list somewhere and mark it as an address I do want to receive?

Have I totally confused you and made a mess of my question? lol
