Why won’t Daemon leave me alone?
I have, this week, started getting between 200-300 returned emails with the “Mailer-Daemon” (or some similar spelling) “Undeliverable” message on them every single day in my inbox. I mark them as spam and all because I do not know what else to do. I have not signed up for anything new. I have not done anything at all that I have not done in the past. Now, I am suddenly getting mass emails about undeliverable mass emails that I never even sent out en masse in the first place. It is very annoying to say the least. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem other than deleting my account with Yahoo and starting fresh? I do not know why it started, but I am ready to choke the internet. Thanks in advance.
I know what the Mailer Daemon thing is, but I have, this week, started getting between 200-300 bounced/returned emails with the “Mailer-Daemon”/ “Undeliverable” message on them every single day in my inbox. I mark them as spam and all because I do not know what else to do. I have not signed up for anything new. I never forward emails. I may send 2 emails out every two or three days. Is anybody else receiving bulk mail from their own account?
It’s weird, at 1st I was receiving bulk mail from e-mail accounts similar to mine and now I’m receiving them from my own account but I’m not sending them. Is it possible some sort of hacking is involved? Is anybody else having this problem? How can I stop it? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!
Received bulk e-mail with MY address in SENDERS address column. I didn’t send myself the e-mail. What gives?
I just got a bulk e-mail. And in the “SENT FROM” or “SENDER’S” address column it said the e-mail was from a Yahoo e-mail address exactly IDENTICAL to my own Yahoo e-mail address. I never sent myself the e-mail. I checked my “sent” file which has no evidence of this e-mail being sent by me or to me. No one else has access to my computer or my e-mail account or my login code. How did my e-mail address wind-up under the SENDER column? Does this mean someone has hacked into my e-mail account? I have a lot of important information in my e-mail account. Is it now vulnerable to theft? I am really worried. Please, help. Thanks. Jeff
