Where can I get a reasonably priced opt-in email list?

I would like to get an opt-in email list that has people who would actually like to recieve my free e-newsletter, thus it would help if the list was relevant to my site, www.designtimehaven.com
I do not want to spam people and I have already purchased one opt-in list, but most of the people on it where not even aware they had opted-in… All suggestions are greatly appreciate, and ideas for list relevant to my products are even beyond greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help.

I have all of my customers’ emails because it is part of their customer information. I know how to send an invoice to customers, but I would like to inform my customers of up coming sales, ect. I would like to be able to send an email to all customers at the same time, or email just my customers from Vancouver (for example). Is this possible?

I need to find a LOCAL email list for Ann Arbor, MI. How can I find such a list?

I’m buying a product for retail price and reselling it on ebay for profit. is this illegal?

I’m buying a product online for retail price because they are having a special if I buy in bulk. I then sell this product individually for a small profit on ebay. I then get an email from the company asking me where I’m getting this product? After telling them I bought it directly from their website and reselling them, the person asks me not to sell it for under their retail price. Seems like anywhere I go, the price of this product remains consistently the same. Now because I am selling it for a lower price than everyone else, I have the edge. Now legally, can this company do anything to me? Is what I’m doing illegal? Can I continue doing this without the company giving me some lawsuit I just don’t need? Are there any special types of products where the company controls the market price? Any legal advice would be great?

I want to start my own business?

I really want to start making 1950’s inspired t-shirts like little firemen and kids, I don’t know really where to start. I could start by buying t-shirts in bulk but if I design the pictures I need to get them printed my main concern is if they look too much like something that has been copyright and I get into trouble. How do I avoid this from happening to me?

I thought I would sell at the markets.

Has anyone got any ideas about this?
I think I’m smart and creative enough to do both thank you, or I wouldn’t consider…

Is there any other so called “home business” that gets more negative connotations than MLM/Network Marketing?

I realize the bulk of those in MLM with blinders on think that MLM gets as much respect as any business, so this question is directed at those outside of MLM. There has got to be something else out there that gets as little respect right? Even the companies calling up for long distance services are at least doing sales to people other than themselves and paying employees, but MLM…not exactly. Can anyone think of any other business like this???

For those in MLM whose emotions get the best of them (as usual) that inevitably feel the need to come in here to answer anyway and calling me names and such, you need to get over it.
hoozdaboss - the “bad press” isn’t because MLM is illegitimate its because the whole presentation of MLM as some opportunity based on signing other people up as oppose to focusing on sales is a sham. The concept is merely based on the idea of using other people to do the work. And like I said, those in MLM have blinders on as you are a perfect example of one in MLM who is unable or unwilling to grasp the obvious.

As far as being jealous because they are not making an effort to succeed, that is pure MLM garbage (more specifically, MLM brainwashing for the naive). So the assumption is that anyone that isn’t doing MLM isn’t trying to get ahead? MLM is the only business on earth? Gimme a break!
