Bulk email marketing

This is for a hosted email software model (ASP).

I’ve had a few websites for awhile now. I’ve done the yahoo sponsor search, google adwords, and everything else out there. After learning about email marketing I believe I could have my best sucess with this. I’m not trying to sell anything I’m just trying to get people to join my social network website (writers). So what I need to know is how do I get started? Where do I find email lists? What’s that best free program I can use to send bulk emails? I’m not trying to invest any money in this so I need to know free ways to do this (I know about the pay ways). So if anybody knows anything please let me know because I need my website to grow faster.

I’ve tried four different email blasting companies and it seems like they are just saying they send out the emails without ever actually doing so for my website www.somanyshops.com. If anyone knows a reputable email blaster program that they have personally used and received positive results from, please let me know. I’m really trying to increase traffic to my websites.

I use cj, copeac, and a few others but I am looking to expand into more. What are some other good affiliate marketing networks?

I have a writing and editing services company, and we currently have $4500 of our operating budget. We are planning to do direct mail marketing, advertisements in trade journals, and online marketing (pay-per-click, e-newsletters, etc). How much of my marketing budget should I allocate for online marketing?

I need to know details such as packaging and labeling, food licence if needed, and pattening and all other legal ins and outs of marketing a food product. Hopefully someone knows of a website that is dedicated to auntrepaneurship.

I am looking to email 8000 users on a daily basis, emailing them about every 2-3 days by deleting old users and importing new ones. I am looking for a good email marketing solution that would send emails to my users’ inbox and not mark them spam. I am looking for softwares only, or a good and cheap site thanks.

For my market research class I’m doing a study on consumer spending in restaurants and tipping trends. Does anyone know where I can find those pocket sized tip helpers… You know the ones that say if your bill is this much you’d tip this much based on different percentages… I have to survey at least 75 to 100 people, as an incentive to filling out the survey I want to give people this tip card helper. I need to find out where to buy them in bulk…
