I saw a 35 lb cooking oil can at Costco. I am sure it is economical to buy in bulk, but oil is normally sold in gallons in retail market. For the sake of comparison, how can I convert 35 lb into gallons? Gallon is for volume while pound is for mass!
Thank you guys! I found the answer too. Peanut oil has density of approx 56.81 lb/cubic ft. Divide 35 lb by the density gives 4.63 gallons of oil.
