What is the value of an education?
I have an undergrad degree in marketing, and I’m working on my MBA. I have carried a GPA of 3.3 or higher since high school. Despite my academic acheivements, I find little of what I have learned actually carries over into the “real” world. I know so many people who are doing better than me, yet they don’t have a degree, a bulk of student loans or any other such headaches. My dad has a GED and is doing better than me. While I feel learning is important, I’m beginning to feel the value of a degree is completely overrated. Does anyone have thoughts on this matter?
The marketing research department for a computer company used a large city to test market their new product?
The marketing research department for a computer company used a large city to test market their new product. They found that the demand equation was p = 1296 – 0.12x^2. If the cost equation is C = 830 + 396x, find the number of units that will produce maximum profit.
Haha. That’s the given question. I don’t know anything more than that.
