Bulk email marketing

I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, contemplating to get my Masters in Marketing. I am currently in health care marketing right now. I work for a small company so pretty much I am the marketing department. In what areas should I work on? Appreciate your help.

I am going to be a junior in college. I am in the business school. I am thinking about concentrating in marketing and minoring in human development. What do you think about that idea? Good career choices?

44 Yrs Graduate and working as Manager Marketing for a freight forwarding company and handling sales in Bulk liquid logistics for a UK based company and have handled sales in FMCG Company but have no other profetional qualification

I have a Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Marketing. I am interested in getting into a career in the market research industry, however I am having difficulty finding jobs in this field. Most jobs for marketing majors seem to be in sales. I do not feel that I have the right personality and strengths to be successfu in sales. I am more of an analytical, detailed, organized person who prefers woking with data and solving problems. I have looked on the major job search sites, but there are not many opportunities for entry-level candidates. I have researched companies who specialize in market research in my area, and I have been on two interviews, but no job offer.

Should I start to look in another direction? What type of work could be a good stepping stone for somebody who wants to get into marketing research? The job interviews I had with the market research companies were entry-level posiitons involving clerical type work.Should I look for clerical positions for experience?

I currently work in marketing/PR and am planning on quitting my full-time job in a few months to go back to school and earn a second bachelor’s in civil engineering (and thus change careers). While I’m in school, I’ll need to earn some money, and I figure a good option for me would be doing freelance marketing/PR projects – flexible hours and hopefully better pay per hour than waiting tables. For those of you that currently do freelance marketing/PR, do you have any tips for finding work? I’ve browsed craigslist, but that isn’t always reliable (I don’t want those work-for-free-but-build-your-portfolio jobs). I’m in the Chicago area if it makes a difference.

Also, if I create an online portfolio of my work, does anyone know if I can I feature work I’ve done for my current employer (now or after I leave)? I don’t want to get in any copyright trouble. I’m not sure how to approach my boss with that question just yet.

I know it’s not for everyone and I know you need an extensive knowledge. But I was wondering who can start a marketing firm/consulting business and how would you go on about starting it?
Anybody with some knowledge of starting a marketing firm, please give me some detailed information because I am anxious to know.
I graduated with a degree in Business, and unfortunately I have not taken many marketing classes. But I am willing to take more if needed.
