Considering double majoring in marketing and political science, and would like to know about job availability.

Hi, I am taking classes towards getting an associates in marketing, because I have a lot of interest in marketing and advertising, but my major is political science. I wanted to know if anyone thinks I should double major in poli sci and marketing. Also how high are my chances of finding a good job upon graduation. I am planning to either go to law school or get my MBA after graduation as well. Any thoughts or suggestions?

What does a marketing manager do, and how do you become one?

I’m planning on getting my undergraduate degree in Psychology. Could I still become a marketing manager?

Is engineering an obsolete major in North America?

Is engineering still worth studying in North America? Or is it a lost cause?

With the new globalized economy, outsourcing, offshoring and all the new immigrants from China and India who are trained engineers that are leaving their countries, is it still worth majoring in engineering here in America?

I’m about to begin my studies in this field but I can’t help but think that by the time I’m out, the market will be saturated with immigrant engineers from China and India which will depress wages in the profession and that most companies will be simply offshoring andoutsourcing the bulk of their engineering work.

Am I right or am I wrong?

Marketing?

I am attending University in the Fall but im confused. I have been accepted into Commerce at my university and i was planning on majoring in Marketing. However i am not sure if I am picturing what Marketing really is. I want to be the one who will come up with the ad. I don’t want to make it just create the idea for it. Is that what Marketing would en tale or should i just go into Arts and Sciences?

Thanks
