hi all - ive finally saved up to make myself a pretty good gaming rig at $1800. i configured a pretty good system but its quite a bit over my budget [$300 over] so im just wondering are prices gonna come down in the near future [like christmas]. its the gtx 295 [$450] and the motherboard [rampage ii extreme - $300] which are hiking the price up. ive lived my whole life in this buddhist country where no one jumps on to the christmas festivity and bulk buying bandwagon so i really have no idea what the exact marketing patterns are during xmas [xcept for what ive seen in movies lol]
thanks for the informative answers guys! wow this is so irritating cuz i just saw some of last years walmart catalogs and one gets the impression that prices have come down like 50% for everything when in reality its all just a gimmick!! goddamnit i **** marketing schemes!
