Some desireable e-mails are sent automatically to the Bulk folder. I am pretty sure I never hit the Spam button – especially, for example, when the sender was Wxpserver – one I ALWAYS want to read. I have opened the message in the Bulk folder and hit the Not Spam button. That moves the e-mail to the Input folder, but then a future message from the same sender lands in the Bulk folder again.
My Concern: Emptying Bulk without looking through the many messages I have no interest in looking for the ones I want.
Thanks in advance for assisting!
Thanks, d3midway.
I did not find the address listed in the blocks. However, I DID have 500 blocked addresses – the maximum.
I deleted one in case there is a software bug when max’d out.
Go to “Options” It is above your email
Click on “Blocked Addresses”
Click on the Address you want to remove block
Click on “Remove Block”
This should remove the block and allow it to start coming into your inbox. Hope this helps!!!
Same here – have to go “dumpster diving” time to time, because my usual contacts suddenly, for no reason show up in the bulk folder.
And BTW – ones you mark as “spam” will not go into bulk folder – they’re just blocked, period. You never see them at all!
One day I just wasn’t sure about a bulk message and went to check it – strangely enough, it wasn’t even addressed to me – it was supposed to go to someone with first 3 letters same as in my user name, but the rest of the characters – completely different.
So, I got curious and went through all the junk and sure enough – almost 50% of the junk in my bulk folder wasn’t even addressed to me!
What kind of software is used to sort these messages – something from a bargain basement?
Sheesh, doesn’t anybody know how to write good soft anymore?
And the most infuriating thing is – most of this bulk mailings come from Yahoo IPs in the first place. Shouldn’t Yahoo take some actions against their own users?
And how about someone spoofing my own e-mail address to send me junk? Grrrrrrrrr!
