Bulk mail usually self deletes after a specific time. This allows you the opportunity to find something that should not have gone there and the mail provider a chance to dump unwanteds(sometimes setable). If it is on your computer(Avant mail etc) an options menu some where will give you a time period to dump.
your email should have a section called message rules in the tools menu. this allows you to set rules for how your mail is handled. you can set the subject to contain the words spam or bulk and then have them deleted automatically. the trouble is not all spam is always junk and you could lose some things you wouldnt expect. filtering by sender ia also possible but you need a separate spam rule for every one

im not sure how, but I think you can block specific senders from sending anything! but, you can always fight spam with spam! (not recommended)
Open spam protection in options on the mail page. Set it to delete spam immediately. Keep all contacts in the address book.
