well i personaly prefer farmers markets because the plants dont go threw as much prossesing and they are fresher and you can buy in bulk there and they tend to be cheeper

Farmers markets are a great place to buy your fruits and vegetables. For the most part, everything that is being sold was harvested and grown locally and was just harvested a few hours earlier, often without the heavy use of preservatives and other chemicals that so many of the commercial farms use. You also get to meet the farmers, sample the goods, swap and get recipe’s or ideas on how to prepare the produce and know that any money you spend goes rite back into the areas economy. I know for a fact that many of the sellers welcome persons who buy in bulk, and will often give some very good deals.
