You can go back and change it.
Click on Options at the top right of your yahoo in-box. Click on “Spam Protection” and change your settings.
Where it says: Immediately delete these messages upon receipt, take the check mark out of that box and put one in the box that says to save them in the bulk folder for a period of time of your choosing.
I make it a practice to check the bulk folder each time I lo-gin, check it for legitimate mail and delete all, if it’s not.
Once you open the bulk folder, you can delete eveything just like you do your email.
