Many marketers put coupons in magazine and newspapers today. Others place tear-coupons in supermarket and other store displays.
The latest in couponing is Internet placement. The buyer can just print the coupon out and take it to their local store to use.

Are buyers willing to register at various online sites to get coupons faxed or emailed to them? Why or why not?
What could these websites do to become more user friendly for buyers?
Have buyers become more price-conscious now that websites give so much competitive information about price & coupons for so many products that are readily available? Is that a good thing or not for marketers?
I am big into couponing. I print a decent amount of coupons using coupons.com, redplum.com, and smartsource.com. For these sites I did not need to sign up to use them. I did have to install a coupon printer to my desktop but it is totally worth it. It hasn’t caused any issues on my computer.
As far as signing up on various websites..I do that too. I have a completely separate email address for my coupons. I will admit it gets a lot of junk mail in it but most of those emails do have some sort of coupon with them. Even if the coupons that get mailed to me are not worth printing..the initial coupon I get for signing up usually makes it well worth it. Not to mention you can easily unsubscribe from the mailing list. I get almost everything for under $1.00 and a lot of stuff for free.
I match up my coupons with the current sales at my grocery store and it results in some fantastic deals. It has made me extremely price-conscious. I went from spending around $100/week (sometimes more) to spending an average of $25/week…and I get A LOT more food spending less money!
