I’m always careful to check NO when dealing with a merchandiser on line regarding their ability to share my email address. Yet, somehow, I have started getting junk in my bulk mail folder. To date, I have been just deleting it, fearful that by opening and responding I will worsen the problem. Any suggestions for how to handle this situation? I have a feeling that some website and its affiliates are sending me this garbage…do I have to “unsubscribe” from each and every one, individually?

More than half the time, the unsubscribe won’t work. Instead, it tells the spammers your email address is working…more of a reason for them to send you stuff.
This has become really annoying. However, if you have a good spam filter, or use Microsoft Outlook 2003, this is manageable. Also, if you use services like Yahoo or Hotmail, you can add email addresses to block list (if you get the spam from the same address).
open the mail copy the sender address then go to mail options block address and paste the senders email address.
Move all the emails in inbox. Select d emails ID wherefrom u dont want to receive emails and click on d spam icon. Those ids will be blocked. This is d one way. Second is to unsubscribe urself from all d email ids, This is time consuming. Choice is urs.
