I once answered a question and i answered it the way i thought was appropriate. It was within the guidelines of yahoo answers community, i showed respect to the asker too.
But then some other yahoo answerer, clicked on my mail icon on yahoo answers profile and then blasted me in the email saying —
“How can you answer that way? How dare you? You are the biggest arrogant meanie i know. citizens like you are useless”
i was like, “what is this guy talking about? what did i do?”
Then i went back to my answers and i answered a question which said,
“Is waterboarding torture?”
i answered yes, because i felt that way. But this other yahoo answerer blasted me in email that how dare i say yes and that i’m with the terrorists and stuff.
I still quite don’t understand why another yahoo answerer will send email to basically attack your character?
some just cant handle anyone who disagrees with thier point of view
This person is one of those who allow others to think for him and did indeed abuse Yahoo Comm. Guidelines .
It is unfortunate that he has abused the privilege of e-mailing you and venting his views in such a way . Please allow others the ability to e-mail you because there may be those who have a genuine and sincere motive to seek your advice and value your opinion .

Yes, I have received e-mails like that. I delete and forget. There’s no point in responding to people who obviously can’t handle differing viewpoints.
