So I had an interview with a company last Thursday, and it went great… but I don’t think I want to work there, because the pay is too low and the hours are too irregular. They want me to email a list of references to them, but I don’t want to waste their time or the references’ time if I know I likely won’t work there even if I am hired. Should I email them the list of references anyway?
After interview, they want me to email list of references, but I don’t want the job, email list anyway?

Do not send the list of references. Send your regrets to the interviewer instead. This is the polite way to handle the problem since you don’t want your references contacted unnecessarily.
No way, dont even waste your time sending references if they pay low. Your time is money, dont waste it on them.
No, why waste their time any further and ruin your name in case you decide you may want to apply again. Contact the hiring manager and state that you have found another opportunity and thank them for their time, and request they withdrawn your application from the pool.
If you don’t want the position, why would you consider emailing your references to the company? I would send a thank you for your time letter though.
