Its hotmail !!! All my contacts would get email messages (usually with attachments) that I never sent. I never had a second thought. But yesterday, I checked my sent mails to find like 50 or so sent “bulk messages” I never sent !!!! and all of those were sent to people in my contact list.
Help me.
The first thing you need to do is change you password.
yo have been hacked. change your password and user name for the account.
You either have a virus or you have been hacked.
1. Run a full virus can, making sure all your virus defintions are up to date. It wont hurt to scan and remove any spyware and what not too.
2. change your password.
lol. you got hacked.
Sounds like you have picked up a virus, this seems to be common thing for them to do, there was one particularly famous one, I LOVE YOU.
Try running your anti-virus software scan to see what it picks up. MS Outlook/Outlook express are often targeted by virus writers as they are the most prevalent email clients. I would recommend not using a MS mail client and use Mozilla Thunderbird/alternatively ensure that you use your mail providers web-based portal instead.
It is also essential that you ensure that your anti-virus program is updated regularly, most programs will do this automatically for you (subject to Internet connection and possibly subscription), however, there are free well trusted anti-virus applications (with regular free updates) out there and for ease of reference I have attached a the link for my preferred free anti-virus software.
The chances are the attachment contained some script (possibly a .VSB file extension) that cause the virus or worm to propagate and forward itself to contacts in your address book.
You also should change your password on a regular basis and not include things like your date of birth as a password. Examples of a good password include things like

Ensure a mixture of numbers and letters and special characters.
Email sent to all my contacts without me sending them. What is going on? – this is called a mass mailing email worm.
run free McAfee Avert Stinger:
Tip:
Tell the people who got the emails to do the same.
(the worm send its self that’s how it spreads)
