If the economy really tanks to catastrophic levels then you should be positioned in a couple of places…. Precious metals and buy property…. Everybody has to have a place to live… Crapped out economy’s mean deals in rental properties…. When the economy was crappy in 1980 and 1981 I bought several 2 families…. I rented them out for a couple of years… When the economy got better a few years later I sold at a hefty profit… I have not paid rent or made a mortgage payment in over 25 years….
If the economy went into hyper inflationary levels then plan ahead…. I talked to several immigrants that lived in the Ukraine when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1999…. There money became worthless…. All those people that had money in banks that saved there whole lives lost everything…. BUT BUT But — the smart ones bought stuff.. Gold watches, antiques, machinery, trucks, etc, etc,,,, When the economy recovered they had something of value to sell…. Those folks that knew how to hustle a little bit might have been a little hungry in the mean time but were able to sell there assets AFTER the crisis was over and were much better off than most other members in there community’s…..
Yeah, that. Maybe some cash, gold and silver too. Start a garden and learn to can food.
I’ll laugh when it happens…

I’ll go out in the streets and act like this:
