Does anyone know how much account marketing managers start off at? Is it good money?

I have an interview for an account marketing manager position tommorow, and was wondering how much they would start me off at? Is this a good job? They told me they would start me off at entry level. What does that mean?
The term “account marketing manager” is something I haven’t specifically come across before worded exactly like this. One thing to watch out for is that jobs varying from true high end marketing roles right through to dodgey people selling credit card services at railway stations can get advertised in newspapers as a “marketing” position. So be careful what you are getting yourself in for. At best guess I would say this job has missused the word marketing and it’s actually a sales job look after a number of accounts and trying to find new accounts (ie cold calling)
Generally “entry level” is another word for minimum wage. May not be, but will be low paid. If so look to see what level of opportunity for advancement there is – real opportunity not some hype. In this case if you can work your way towards something it could be good.
People with the word “marketing” in their job title can earn anything from less than minimum wage (working on commission only) through to those earning in the millions of dollars (literally!) so you really have to just get a good idea of what the job is about and don’t be afraid to ask them about wages (using the word “remuneration” instead of pay or wage makes you sound smarter and more high end – just don’t pronounce it wrong!)
Best of luck with your job interview.
