I am a Fun Foods Vendor and I own a commercial candy apple processing machine, which I use make candy apples for resale.
I have tried for sevral years to promote my Candy Apples on a larger volume by contacting and mail merging to(e.i. non-profit schools, churches, City Parks & Recreation, bowling Alley’s, regular vending at the local Farmer’s Market) it’s even on Craigs List but to no avail.
Can someone please suggest to me something that I can do that may help me to get a better response, I feel like i’ve tried everything and gotten no where:(
If you want bulk buyers, the best route is to attend and sell on tradeshows — that’s where bulk buyers and retailers converge.
One example is the
Philadelphia National Candy, Gift & Gourmet Show
Sep 7 – Sep 9, 2008
Atlantic City, NJ
Use sites such as TSNN.com and to find shows that you can attend
Contact local candy wholesalers and convince them to market your product. If you can’t find wholesalers in the yellow pages you could try asking at independent stores [not chain stores]. In rural areas there are usually lots of small independent wholesalers which make it easier to get your products marketed.
